I was born and raised in the steel towns of Western Pennsylvania, and resided in the Shenango Valley until moving to Northern Virginia in 1998, when I graduated from the Boler School of Business at John Carroll University with a degree in Economics. During the first half of my life I was involved with debate, mock trial, and other competitive public speaking events. I am also a Silver Bronze Palm Eagle Scout.
I am currently a resident of Loudoun County in Northern Virginia, where I bring more than a dozen years’ experience to bear in providing technical and project management expertise for federal and state government agencies. I also proudly serve the residents of Northern Loudoun County as an operational member of Lovettsville Volunteer Fire & Rescue Company 12.
I enjoy photography, travel, wine, humor, cooking, and gadgets; love the outdoors; and take an active interest in politics and both regional and national issues– particularly ones that involve privacy and civil rights issues. I am a gadget lover at heart; in the past year I’ve moved from an iPhone to WebOS, and finally to Android-based devices. Since these items consume most of my non-work life, they are what I spend most of my time discussing on my site.
Welcome to my world. I hope you enjoy your visit, and look forward to having some good (and at times lively) discussions with you.
